Thank you so, so much for playing for our party last night. The music and the dancing were wonderful, and we had such a good night. Loads of people commented on how excellent the band and the calling were. At church we have used a few other ceilidh bands in the past for various events, but the unanimous opinion was that Fiddlers Wreck topped them all! We had some very experienced ceilidh-ers (all the way from Scotland, complete with kilt!) right through to complete novices, and everyone had a fabulous evening. Our daughter’s school friends (all around 17 years old) are now ceilidh converts and can’t wait for another opportunity to dance! Thank you for helping make it such a special evening.

Thank you so much for the contribution you and the band made to our wedding celebrations at the Hideaway on May 25th. We loved having such high quality live music and your choice of dances was spot on for the limited space and inexperienced enthusiasm of our venue and guests. We had heard from my sister, the rector of Crayke, that you did a great ceilidh, and we agree wholeheartedly.
We also hugely appreciated the PA and disco add-on service. Our ushers spoke very highly of you and the help they had given them to set up for speeches and playlists and it was great to be able to have this option, along with the lights, for the DIY approach we wanted to take. Thank you for hanging on until midnight so the guests could dance into the night – it really made the evening having the combination of traditional and modern, giving something for everyone.
