Fundraising and Public Ceilidhs

Whether your fundraising for a local playgroup or the church roof fund, let FiddlersWreck Ceilidh Band help you dance the night away with a fun filled evening for everyone. A ceilidh is the ideal way to get your guests having fun and meeting new friends.

We find that 70+ guests to be ideal for a ceilidh but recommend that you need a minimum of 40. Experience is not necessary and it doesn't matter if you've got two left feet. We usually play as a 4 piece band including the caller who will walk you through the dances and keep you right but for certain events we may be able to provide a two or three piece band at a discounted rate.

We typically play for 2 - 3 hours with a break in the middle, usually timed to coincide with the supper break, party games or raffle. We have £5m Public Liability Insurance can provide a PAT certificate for our equipment and and any paperwork required by the venue.

Unlike many ceilidh bands we are more than happy to work with a disco at your event. A ceilidh is a great way to get people mingling together and on their feet early in the night with the disco to round off the evening. Our Links page includes a number of discos that we've worked with in the past.
